A graphic designer that’s never failed to impress me is the one and only Michael Bierut. His style is timeless and I feel there’s a lot to learn from his mindset and outlook on the design industry.

Since I stumbled across his work years ago I’ve always thought ‘that’s the designer I want to be’.  Bierut talks about being a problem solver as a graphic designer, I too prefer to work towards an end, I feel that too much freedom can leave a design with too many possibilities, and that’s why I feel there needs to be a problem solved in order for a design to work.
